Exclusive: Colin Morgan (Merlin(and Katie Leung)Harry Potter) will narrate The haunted librarya podcast about classic horror stories.
The idea is for the pair to read titles from a fictional gothic library, which opens its doors on September 21, with BBC Studios Audio producing and financing the series, which will include versions of stories by Edgar Allan Poe, Bram Stoker, Sir Arthur Conan Doyle, Algernon Blackwood, MR James and more.
Two episodes will be released each week on major podcast providers and BBC Sounds, the BBC’s audio platform. Subscribers to Haunted Library Plus On Apple Podcasts, you’ll get early access and ad-free listening.
Robert Louis Stevenson The Strange Case of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde The series will be released, with Morgan and Leung narrating parables Frankenstein, Turn the screw, The Picture of Dorian Gray, Carmella and The invisible man.
